YOUTH & WOMEN DEVELOPMENT
According to the Nigeria Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS 2013), 62% of the total population of Nigeria are under age 25. Most of these youths across the country lack access to various opportunities to harness their innate talents and leadership capabilities for economic and productive enterprise. We at The Pathfinder Youth Network therefore serve as a platform to help the Nigeria youth bridge the gap between purpose and talent discovery, development and deployment of the same for personal and national development. We believe the Nigeria youth and women possess enormous strength, creativity and untapped leadership capabilities to chat a path of honor for himself and the nation’s glory, hence, our programs are targeted at sustainable capacity development to help achieve a thriving community for our youths and women, who are not only living life to the fullest, but which our country can boast of anywhere in the world.
HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT (HSE)
At the Pathfinder Youth Network, we are committed to the health and safety of all, especially children and youth. and the preservation of the world we live in, hence, we will pursue initiatives, and partnerships that center on health and safety education, orientations, climate change awareness, and programs that boost the knowledge and healthiness of all for the promotion of a healthier nation.
VOCATIONAL, ENTERPRENUERIAL & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Vocational and entrepreneurial trainings are part of the core programs we pride ourselves in at the Pathfinder Youth Network. Part of our goal is to empower 20, 000 youths, women and girls especially orphans on various skills acquisition programs across the South – western part of Nigeria in the next five years.
YOUTH ADVOCACY
The Pathfinder Youth Network will always advocate for youth courses within and outside Nigeria through our various platforms and programs so as to engender positive response from various stakeholders for the overall well-being and development of every youth. Our belief is that every youth deserves a safe, inclusive and enabling space to thrive, hence we will mobilize and champion resources to ensure that policy makers and other stakeholders in Nigeria formulate and execute policies that give room for the Nigeria youth to compete favorably with their counterparts in other parts of the world.
